encouched in couchtroversy

Myrmecophage wanted a picture with a mysterious blue ant-eater and also nemitz or lope "lounging," possibly on a couch.  I thought it simple enough to have nemitz (red creature) -and- lope (worried blue creature), but that means elpse (green creature) was probably nearby, and there was space for pog (camouflaged purple creature).  At no point was this supposed to be in a jungle or blendily colored.  Whoopth.

Why does deviantart not have a category for an illustration of something happening that is not in a "storybook" or "pop art" or "landscape" or any of these nichey labels?  Why can I not just call it "digital art?"  Or "a picture?"
